Parents,

We need your help in order to hold practices. We must have deck parents at each practice. Please check your schedule and sign up to be a deck parent. This is a requirement from MVF.

Swim Teams must have two parents on duty for morning practices when swim team members are present and the pool is closed.

• Deck Parent duty consists of the following:
  • The emergency gate is kept closed.
  • All people entering the pool area are affiliated with the swim team.
  • MVF rules and regulations are enforced.
  • Swimmers are kept off diving boards, guard chairs, out of the tot pool, pool office, and any other part of the building except the bath house.
  • All safety precautions are taken at pool and bath house.

If you are unable to be on deck for your assigned morning, it is your responsibility to find another team parent to be present. If there is no adult present, we cannot hold practice!

Reminder: During all practices when the pool is closed, no one is allowed in the pool for recreational swimming. This is a Montgomery Village Foundation regulation.
