Swim Program Overview

Our program supports swimmers from first-time water comfort through advanced competitive training. Each group is designed to match skill level, confidence, and endurance.


🫧 Pre-Team

Typically ages 4–6
Practices take place in the shallow end of the pool.
This group is for swimmers who are still becoming comfortable in the water. Skills are introduced through games and guided activities in a fun, supportive environment.

Swimmers work on kicking, arm movements, and basic body position while building comfort and confidence in the water.

Focus: Water comfort, basic skills, confidence
Goal: Build readiness for structured swim instruction


🌟 Developmental Team

Typically ages 7–10
Practices are held in a shallow training area (approximately 3.5–4 feet deep).
Swimmers are developing the ability to swim short, continuous distances with proper technique.

This group focuses on freestyle, backstroke, and breathing control while building endurance and consistency.

Focus: Freestyle, backstroke, breathing, endurance
Goal: Prepare for swim meet participation


🐳 Swim Team

The Swim Team is for swimmers ready for structured lap swimming and continued skill development. Swimmers are grouped by age and ability, and lane assignments are adjusted during practice so each swimmer is appropriately challenged.

All practices take place in the lap lanes (full-depth pool areas). Coaches group swimmers by skill level within lanes to support proper technique, endurance training, and continued progress.

Swimmers continue developing all four competitive strokesβ€”freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterflyβ€”while building endurance and learning race skills.


🐳 Ages 10 & Under

This group focuses on strengthening stroke fundamentals and introducing structured team practices. Swimmers build endurance, improve technique, and learn how to train in a team environment.

Focus: Stroke fundamentals, endurance, race introduction
Goal: Build confidence and prepare for swim meets


🌊 Ages 11 & Up

This group is for swimmers ready for more advanced training and longer sets. Practices focus on refining technique, improving endurance, and developing race strategy.

Focus: Technique, conditioning, starts/turns, race strategy
Goal: Improve performance and compete confidently in meets
